The type of personal information we collect
We currently collect and process the following information:
· Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)
· Username & Basic profile information (Facebook, Instagram etc)
· Information volunteered through online forms ie age range, complaints
· Photographs and embedded information in photograph tags
· General website visit data, number of likes / reach of Facebook posts
· Email address for newsletter database
· Payment processing data for internet transactions (donations etc)
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
· You have commented on our page or filled in a form on our website
We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:
· If someone else mentions you in a post
· If we are given a list of contacts by another village organisation
We use the information that you have given us in order to help you with your complaint, contact you, compile data about the issues raised as village matters, distribute newsletter.
We may share this information with the Community Council elected and Coopted members only as necessary.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting secretary.moccc@outlook.com
(b) We need it to perform a public task.
(c) We have a legitimate interest.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored www.godaddy.co.uk, www.facebook.com, www.instagram.com, secretary.moccc@outlook.com, treasurer.moccc@outlook.com, chair.moccc@outlook.com
We keep Name and contact details for 2 years. We will then dispose your information by deleting any expired databases. Any paper copy lists of task based distribution information will be destroyed after completing the task.
